A decree was made in suit of J. W. Carll against Addie M. Carll for divorce. The two Carlls are no longer one.

Charles W. Ellis, who lived so long in the family of Hon. Daniel Francis, died at the residence of the latter in East Des Moines on Saturday last, aged 20 years. His remains were brought to Penn Center for burial.

W. H. Bellows lost his only son, a bright little boy of four years, by that dreadful disease so fatal to children, diphtheria.

Mrs. Phillips of Jackson Township, died last week. She was an old resident of the County, having lived here for 15 or 20 years.
