Sarah M. Renshaw, wife of Sylvester Renshaw, died at her home in Jefferson Township, February 23rd, age 33 years, 2 months and 23 days. She was born in Clayton County, Iowa, November 26th, 1849. Her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Dr. Hazen of Jasper County, Missouri, were with her during the most of her sickness and id all they could to save the life of a kind daughter. She was buried at Fairview Cemetery. She leaves a husband and 5 children.

Josephine Florence Heizler, daughter of G. W. & M. E. Heizler, was born in Bureau County, Illinois on September 5th, 1859. She was married to James H. Adkins at Winterset on March 5th, 1879. The fruit of the union was on son. Mrs. Adkins died at the residence of her father in Winterset on the 25th day of February at 9:30 pm.
