Edgar Harrah, of Jefferson Township, was married last Thursday to Miss Sadie Graham of Penn Township.

Married: March 22nd, at the residence of P. M. Rhodes in Monroe Township, Dr. C. L. Dickinson and Miss Frances V. Roby. W. M. Berry, J.P officiating.

Mr. G. W. Maxon, of Des Moines and Miss Jennie Sims of this place, were married at the residence of the brides's parents, Tuesday morning of this week, with Rev. Dr. Robertson officiating.

Eli Cox was born in Clinton County, Ohio, on August 28, 1835 and died in Madison County, Iowa, on March 22, 1885, aged 59 years, 7 months and 24 days. He was buried at the McDonald Cemetery in Jefferson Township.
