Marriage Licenses issued: George H. MCKINZIE and Nora DOTY.

Grand River Township: Mrs. KINGERY, near Kasson, died last Friday and was buried in the Burg Cemetery on Saturday.

Dead Letter List: Mattie BRECKENRIDGE; Miss Myrtle DANIELS; Mrs. Ellen DUDSON; E. R. CELCER; Martin V. Henry; A. C. SMITH.

Frank HUSS of Webster Township, died suddenly last Wednesday about noon. His fatal sickness was very brief, as he was about town last Saturday and apparently in his usual state of health. He was about 30 years of age and leaves a wife and 2 small children. What disease caused his death is not learned. (husband of Chrilla, d. 9-2-1891, burial at the Hooten Cemetery)

(W.) Ansel (P.) CRAIG, a young man about 16 years of age, died the first of the week of quick consumption and was buried last Wednesday. (d. 9-1-1891, s/o G. & C.M., burial at Hooten Cemetery)

Penn Center Township:The infant daughter of George SNYDER was reported to be in a dying condition on Saturday afternoon.

The 35th wedding anniversary of Mr. & Mrs. William PRICE occurred on Sunday, August 30th. Their only child, W. J. PRICE and his wife, managed the affair very cleverly in the shape of a surprise.

The sad news came last Saturday that Mr. S. T. WRIGHT, who was visiting friends at Clinton, had suddenly died there. The details of his death are very meager. Mr. WRIGHT was a man well along in years, perhaps 70. He lived a short distance west of town on the Bluffs road.

Married at the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. Reuben A. LENOCKER of Penn Township and Miss Mattie PACE of Patterson. The Rev. G. J. CAMPBELL of Drake University officiating

John SULGROVE, of Douglas Township, died last Tuesday. About a year ago he became insane and was sent to the asylum. There his condition gradually became worse and bodily disease followed mental and a few weeks ago his father brought him home where he remained till his death.
