A fire in Lorimor destroyed both the J. H. PARKS hardware store and the J. M. JACKSON
general store. The neighboring I.O.O.F. Hall and the EDWARD Bros. store were saved
from the blaze.
The U.S. Express Company was found to be illegally shipping liquor, including bottles
of whiskey and kegs of beer.

A. W. CRAWFORD sold his abstract books, loan and insurance business to Mr. Clarence
M. CONDIT of Milo. CONDIT was formerly a cashier of the Citizen's Bank in Milo.
Why Perry farmers' cows were producing very little milk, despite the fact that they
were in the best pastures, was a mystery, that is until it was discovered that some
boys were milking the cows while they were in the pasture!
