Sheriff ALLEN was on the southbound passenger Tuesday on his way
to Denison, to subpoena witnesses in the Winan murder case, which
will be tried next week in Judge GOLDSMITH's court, at Sac City.
Sheriff ALLEN informed us that there will be one hundred
witnesses from Crawford county attend the trial, which bids fair
to be one of the most exciting trials ever held in Sac county.
